Sound connects us to our world – to our families, our culture and community. For many Edmontonians, this connection is severed. Hard of hearing and deafened individuals may not have the opportunity to experience music, language and sounds from around the world with limited access to hearing technology and resources. This is why The Canadian Hard Of Hearing Association – Edmonton Branch (CHHA-Edmonton) is hosting a one-of-kind, local adventure that will take us HEAR and there, around the world.

The Inaugural HEAR Around The World Gala fundraiser hosted by CHHA-Edmonton is setting out to raise $20,000 to support local programs, resources and improved access to hearing technology. Guests will experience tastes, sounds, and dancing from around the world. The event will include a silent auction, plated dinner and cash bar, DJ and dancing and an exclusive VIP reception for key sponsors, board members and community stakeholders.
