|Academic Scholarship||Captioning and Court Reporting Scholarship||High School Scholarship|
|Madison Bradley– Madison is studying Computer Science in University, with aspirations towards a career in this field once she graduates, Madison is hoping the skills she learns can help people with hearing loss, to develop systems that fit their needs or working in IT within an organization involved in the community. Madison says, “at one point in my career, assist in developing software that fits the need of the Deaf community, toward improving captioning software or developing visual alert systems”.||Krystal Truong– upon graduating high school Krystal originally wanted to become an elementary school teacher, but after hearing about Captioning and Court Reporting through a friend she enrolled in the NAIT program. Krystal says that the program has been, “a treat” and “is so happy to say she is part of the Captioning and Court Reporting Class of 2020”. Krystal plans on achieving a certificate in RPR and earning her “Realtime” certification, with aspirations to be involved in the HOH community in her career.||Aneca S – Edmonton, AB.|

|CHHA-Edmonton High School Achievement Award||A scholarship of $500 awarded to Open to hard of hearing or oral deaf students enrolled in an Edmonton high school in Grades 10, 11, or 12. Must be submitted in full by May 31.|
|CHHA-Edmonton Academic Scholarship||A scholarship of $1000 offered to any hard of hearing full-time student in a post-secondary institution in Northern Alberta. Must be submitted in full by May 31.
|CHHA-Edmonton NAIT Captioning and Court Reporting Program Scholarship||
A scholarship of $1000 offered annually to a first or second year student registered in the Captioning and Court Reporting Program at NAIT.
Must be submitted directly to CHHA-Edmonton by August 15.
|Charmaine Letourneau Scholarship – for Deaf or Hard of Hearing Post-Secondary students||
The scholarship supports Deaf or Hard of Hearing residents of Alberta who will attend a qualified post-secondary institution or vocational school. Involvement in the Deaf community, school and community leadership, diligence and effort in studies, and commitment to the proposed field of study are considered.
Application deadline is August 31.
|Tom Pinder Education scholarship||
Awarded annually to be applied to an educational program. This scholarship can be used for a broad range of educational pursuits with clear benefit to a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual and the community as a whole.
Application deadline is May 18.
