Scholarship Programs
CHHA-Edmonton Academic Scholarship A scholarship of $1000 offered to any hard of hearing full-time student in a post-secondary institution in Northern Alberta. Must be submitted in full by May 31 of the current year.
Captioning and Court Reporting Program Scholarship
A scholarship of $1000 offered annually to a first year student registered in the second year of the Captioning and Court Reporting Program at NAIT.
Must be submitted directly to CHHA-Edmonton by May 31 of the current year
Charmaine Letourneau Scholarship – for Deaf or Hard of Hearing Post-Secondary students
The scholarship supports Deaf or Hard of Hearing residents of Alberta who will attend a qualified post-secondary institution or vocational school.  Involvement in the Deaf community, school and community leadership, diligence and effort in studies, and commitment to the proposed field of study are considered.
Application deadline is August 31 of the current year
Tom Pinder Education scholarship
Awarded annually to be applied to an educational program.  This scholarship can be used for a broad range of educational pursuits with clear benefit to a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual and the community as a whole.
