    The CANADIAN HARD OF HEARING ASSOCIATION - Edmonton Branch (CHHA-Ed) is a non-profit, charitable organization, by and for persons who are hard of hearing.

    Our mission is to alter the public's perception and remove barriers for the Hard of Hearing in the Edmonton region by providing support, advocacy and programs.

    Our vision is striving to be the most progressive Hard of Hearing organization moving towards full inclusion for Hard of Hearing persons.


CHHA-Ed is a proud recipient of CHHA- National's:

We are proud of our ongoing achievements, including:
  • Facilitated installation of Infrared Assistive Listening systems in select live theatres.
  • Encouraged accessible phones in public facilities such as shopping malls.
  • Informational Open Houses and displays in local malls.
  • Raised funds to assist with installation of Rear Window Captioning in Odyssium IMAX theatre.
